Job Overview

DTG Enterprises Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment to support our recycling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Operate front-end loaders and/or excavators to sort and process recyclable materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and remove unacceptable materials from incoming loads.
  • Communicate effectively with truck drivers to ensure efficient offloading of materials.
  • Direct inbound loads to the tipping floor and assist with heavy items as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating heavy equipment, such as excavators or front-end loaders.
  • Clean driving record and background.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
