Elevator Construction Operations Manager

Collins Elevator Service Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Elevator Construction Operations Manager to oversee the entire Construction Department, including all modernization projects.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a motivated and top-performing elevator field professional to deliver high-quality products and services that meet customer needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the interface with key stakeholders during projects, planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure project objectives are accomplished within the agreed schedule and budget.
Key Responsibilities- Manage site surveying and estimating, project bidding, labor and material cost management, customer satisfaction, quality assurance, and technical support
- Supervise modernization field employees by providing direction, training, and communicating company policies, procedures, and objectives
- Direct and supervise workers concerned with all modernization, ensuring crews are on the job and productive
- Administer the company safety program, performing safety audits as required, and stressing the importance of safety to all employees
- Plan, direct, and prioritize elevator modernization projects and manpower needs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6+ years of elevator experience
- Elevator modernization knowledge and experience
- Project management skills
- Understanding of market requirements in elevator service business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Planning and analytical skills
- Financial ability
- Ability to work on projects in a cross-functional manner
- Organizational skills
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.
