Overview

As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in our team, working closely with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to administer radiation therapy treatments to patients.

Responsibilities

As a Radiation Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Administering radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Accurately entering and maintaining patient treatment parameters into electronic medical records.
  • Participating in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
  • Assisting in maintaining patient appointment schedules and submitting correct billing information.
  • Cutting blocks and making custom molds as needed.
  • Interpreting computerized treatment plans and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited radiation therapy technology program and hold valid state licensure for radiation therapy. Additionally, you will need to be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
