Water Exercise Instructor

The Ocean Community YMCA is currently seeking an experienced Water Exercise Instructor to lead engaging and safe water exercise classes at the Naik Family Branch in Mystic, CT.

As a key member of our aquatics team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for members of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet participants as they enter the class area and take attendance on designated sheets
• Enforce facility rules and ensure a clean and safe environment
• Follow protocols set by the YMCA and Aquatics Director
• Perform actions in the best interest of the YMCA

We are looking for someone with previous group exercise experience and relevant certification to teach their preferred class. Lifeguard certification is a plus. Additionally, CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross or equivalent is required.

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
