About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to nuclear plant operations through engineering and technical tasks.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is between $82,500 and $141,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Description

This role emphasizes adherence to safety analyses and regulatory requirements while promoting process improvements. You will be responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.

You will:

  • Apply general engineering principles to perform assigned tasks;
  • Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements;
  • Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures;
  • Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • B.S. in Engineering (or higher) or Licensed Professional Engineer;
  • Minimum 2+ years (for mid-level) or 5+ years (for senior level) of engineering experience;
  • Engineer-in-Training certification preferred;
  • Good grasp of techniques and understanding of fundamental functions performed by the group;
