We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with students in grades K-12. Located in Richland, WA, this full-time position offers a competitive salary of $35-$40 per hour.

Job Overview

As a member of our team at ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing individualized support to students with disabilities, collaborating with general education teachers and staff, and monitoring student progress.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement effective IEPs that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with disabilities, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with general education teachers and staff to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Regularly assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly to meet their evolving needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • A valid Special Education teaching license for grades K-12.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
