Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Physician, prepares, calibrates, logs, and administers radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing various nuclear medicine procedures. Operates Gamma Camera Imaging equipment, computers, and other isotope-sensitive equipment to obtain a visual representation or measurement of isotope concentrations in specific body areas or organs.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares and administers radioactive isotopes to patients
  • Operates Gamma Camera Imaging equipment and computers
  • Logs and calibrates equipment
  • Provides care and service to critically ill, pediatric, and geriatric patients
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Florida State License Nuclear Medicine required
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N)
