Job Opportunity

Charles River CFO, Inc. is seeking an experienced accountant to join our team of high-performing professionals. As a key member of our accounting department, you will work under the Controller to support the financial function of our clients.

We're looking for an individual with 4+ years of experience working in an accounting department, residing in New England and able to commute to Boston with free parking. The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, strategic, and laser-focused, with a strong understanding of financial management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management
  • Research and reconciliation of discrepancies
  • Auditing and verifying financial documents
  • Following internal controls and financial policies
  • Financial analysis and reporting on a requested basis

Requirements:

  • Accounting degree and at least 3 years of experience
  • Non-profit healthcare industry experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with client companies
  • Ability to function as a team player
