This Senior Fleet Mechanic role at US Foods, Inc. involves troubleshooting and repairing diesel equipment on the 2nd shift.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues with heavy-duty commercial diesel equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Respond to road service calls and transport equipment as needed.
  • Document all repair orders and maintain accurate records of parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanics.
  • DOT certification (Class-A CDL license) is preferred.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are essential for this role.
  • Prior experience with PM programs and administering appropriate maintenance schedules.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
