Primary Care Nurse

Mercy is seeking a skilled Primary Care Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for visits with providers by completing advanced standard room processes, including entering chief complaints, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliations.
- Assist with in-office testing, including drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing.
- Administer vaccines and other injections within the scope of practice.
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed, per office policy.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate the delivery of care plans.
- Diploma in Practical Nursing
- Active LPN licensure
- Preferred experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
