Job Title: Senior AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary:

Meritore is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead the development of advanced machine learning models, particularly focusing on generative AI and large language models (LLMs). As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into innovative AI/NLP solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models using Python and related libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems, leveraging cloud services and containerization for real-time predictions.
  • Conduct extensive data analysis and processing using natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning techniques on large datasets.
  • Optimize and validate machine learning models for performance, scalability, and accuracy in real-world applications.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies, continuously enhancing skill sets and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer, with a specialization in NLP, generative AI, and LLMs.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and related libraries for building and deploying machine learning models.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Haystack) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus).
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS) and experience with data management and deployment in a cloud environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for effective data wrangling and retrieval.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
