At US Foods, Inc., we are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. As a key member of our delivery fleet, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of food products to our customers across various routes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional truck driver with a valid CDL Class A license and at least six months of commercial driving experience to work with us. You will be responsible for navigating through different routes, delivering products to customers, and maintaining excellent customer service skills while working within a flexible schedule.

We value drivers who are flexible and open to making multi-yard stops and routes throughout the week. Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with customers, handle repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, and verify delivery of items with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver customers' orders to meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity.
  • Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivered products and resolve any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service and resolving any concerns they may have.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $61,000 and $67,500 based on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. Benefits for this role may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
