Operating Room Nurse Specialist

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, DC. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive pay package of $2521 per week, along with comprehensive benefits and perks.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in operating room procedures. Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role. You will also need to be able to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess basic computer skills.
In this position, you will work closely with physicians and other health team members to provide and coordinate patient care. You will administer medications as ordered, monitor patients' responses to interventions, and report outcomes. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness of rooms, transport patients as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Interpersonal skills: ability to work effectively with various personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Technical/motor skills: ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
- Mental requirements: ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, meeting deadlines under pressure, and working under close supervision occasionally.
