Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled RN to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients who rely on a G-tube, Trach, and Vent. As a Registered Nurse at Aveanna, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role:

This position requires a registered nurse with experience in caring for patients with complex medical conditions, including those who require a G-tube, Trach, and Vent. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner
  • Develop, implement, and update the nursing care plan
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes
  • Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent risk or reduce risk

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience

Salary Range: $38-$45 per hour
