We're seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in Charlotte, NC. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful contribution to the healthcare industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians and Advanced Care Practitioners with patient care, appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring excellent communication and empathy throughout each interaction
  • Support physician teams with vital sign collection, medication administration, and laboratory testing as needed
  • Assist with appointment scheduling, coordination, and follow-up, ensuring seamless patient flow
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to HIPAA standards and guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Recognized certification as a CMA or RMA from a national organization (e.g., AAMA, NHA, ARMA)
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain excellent time management skills
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required

Salary Estimate:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
