Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Part-time Chemistry Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of chemistry courses, including Foundations of Chemistry, Introduction to Chemistry, Organic and Biochemistry, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. The instructor may be assigned a teaching schedule that includes any college location, and at times that meet student, program and college needs, including evening and weekend classes.

Responsibilities:

• Teach chemistry courses to students at various levels of proficiency
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet student learning outcomes
• Provide prompt feedback and support to students in an objective, respectful, and effective manner
• Collaborate with the College's support services to identify and address students' academic support needs
• Utilize College technology for the delivery of instruction and completion of operational processes
• Meet deadlines and maintain accurate class records and employee records

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Chemistry or a related field with at least 18 credit hours of graduate-level Chemistry courses
• Experience with Blackboard or similar learning management systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
