Debugging Specialist

Mack Technologies is seeking a skilled Debug/Failure Analysis Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting complex issues with printed circuit boards and product level assemblies.

• Utilize system diagnostics and product-specific procedures to identify and isolate the root cause of defective components, piece parts, and subassemblies.
• Set up and operate complex test equipment in accordance with standard test procedures.
• Control, document, and process all non-conforming material.
• Provide technical support in all areas of manufacturing in support of in-circuit and functional test.
• Participate in the development of new product procedures and assist engineering in the implementation of new test tools as needed.
• Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job-specific procedures.
• Participate in quality and client meetings as required.
• Responsible for the quality of work-in-process and the cleanliness of the work area and surrounding workspace.
• May train other employees and maintain ESD integrity within the production environment.

• Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in system test and debugging to the component level.
• Previous experience utilizing digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, microscopes, logic analyzers, DVMs, and other troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, as well as basic electro-mechanical tools and hand tools.
• Ability to interpret detailed drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC-610 requirements.
• Business tools and applications knowledge, including email, Excel, and MS Word.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively as a team member and willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
