Oral Surgery Practice Coordinator

We are a dedicated oral surgery practice in Central Florida, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and first-class service to our referring doctors. We seek a compassionate, team-oriented individual to assist us in providing top-notch care for our patients.
The role of the Scheduling Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring excellent patient outcomes and meeting the needs of our patients. This position involves greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting patient financial responsibility, and preparing patient charts.
- Deliver concierge-level customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members over the phone, in person, or via electronic communication.
- Greet patients and visitors promptly upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Answer the phone efficiently with a smile.
- Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and effective use of exam and treatment rooms.
- Prepare a daily schedule for each provider.
- Prepare patient charts.
- Manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Assist patients as necessary.
- Maintain the reception area in a neat and organized condition.
- Nurture professional relationships with referring offices.
- Ensure confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of customer service experience required.
- Familiarity with dental terminology.
- A friendly, inviting, and professional personality and presence.
- Basic office skills such as typing and filing.
- Good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
**Compensation Package:** $40,000 - $50,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications, plus additional benefits.
