Job Title: Account Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at Javelin. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate sales activities to develop new account relationships and expand existing ones for SOLIDWORKS and TriMech's solutions.
  • Conduct needs assessments, identify business opportunities, and develop tailored sales strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to present comprehensive business solutions to prospects and customers.
  • Manage sales forecasts, account management documentation, and activity reports using Salesforce CRM.
  • Prospect and engage with potential customers through cold calling, research, and networking.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and follow up with customers through various channels.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular updates to management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales best practices through training and self-directed learning.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in software sales or technology sales, preferably in the engineering/manufacturing industry.
  • University or college degree preferred, but experience and results achievement considered equal.
  • Proven track record of successful business-to-business software sales or professional services sales.
  • Demonstrable professional sales skills and solid references.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience selling SOLIDWORKS or competitive products is an asset but not required.
  • An innovative and results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to meet aggressive sales goals and work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office products and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
