About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our treatment team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of the team, you will provide essential support services to patients, including planning, organizing, and conducting adjunctive services and implementing therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement training programs for patients on self-help skills, such as toileting, feeding, bathing, dressing, and basic oral hygiene.
  2. Collaborate with the RPN, Recreational Therapist, and Occupational Therapist to plan and develop therapeutic interventions for patients.
  3. Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu for patients and staff, reporting any known unsafe conditions.
  4. Assist in the evaluation of patient progress based on their master treatment plans.
  5. Perform various personal care and nursing services for patients, including taking vital signs and monitoring seclusion/restraint status.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 per year (based on location and experience)
