About the Role:

Armstrong Teasdale LLP seeks a skilled Global Trade Specialist to join its Corporate Services Group (CSG). The ideal candidate will have expertise in International Trade, U.S. export controls, and economic sanctions.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work closely with experienced legal practitioners in a supportive environment. Associates will have the opportunity to learn from colleagues and contribute to high-profile cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple complex legal matters at different stages of progression
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys and clients
  • Work independently and productively
  • Produce quality legal work and meet billing targets
  • Develop business and generate revenue
  • Adhere to the highest ethical standards

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They will be licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where Armstrong Teasdale conducts business.

A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience involving U.S. export controls, United States Customs, economic sanctions, and embargoed country transactions is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm.
