At South Block HQ, we're looking for a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our leadership team.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead our financial operations and drive business growth. As Financial Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

  • Oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Preparation and presentation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Establishment, monitoring, and enforcement of internal controls to protect company assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Cash flow management and working capital optimization to support growth and operational needs.
Requirements

We're seeking a candidate with:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role; hospitality industry experience is highly beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and executive leadership.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
