AP Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at a growing non-profit organization in Orange, CA.

We collaborate with public and private partners to connect our clients with community resources.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure proper authorization.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports.
  • Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain vendor files and update vendor information as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, bill.com) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
