Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dartmouth Health. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists during various treatment procedures, including preparation and arrangement of necessary tools and instruments.
- Provide hands-on assistance during treatment, including recording findings, sterilizing equipment, and taking dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Develop and implement infection control protocols, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, suppliers, and other team members to ensure seamless care and support.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing supplies.
- High school diploma and associate's degree or postsecondary certification in dental assistance.
- 1 year of experience in dental assisting.
- Dental radiology certification (e.g., DANB CDA or minimum DANB).
