Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Administrative Coordinator to join our team at AST Financial Inc.

About the Company:

AST Financial provides accounting/bookkeeping, Tax, payroll, and consulting services to clients in the restaurant and real estate industry. We have been in business for 40 plus years, working with small minority-owned family businesses in the Tri-State area.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the office, including handling correspondence, filing documents, and maintaining supplies.
  • Support the Accounting team with tasks such as printing payroll checks, scanning bank and credit card statements, and tracking clients' cash expenses using QuickBooks desktop and Excel.
  • Support the tax team by maintaining clients' tax databases and files and assisting in the assembly of tax returns.
  • Meet and greet walk-in clients and take phone calls from clients, transferring calls to the company's point of contact as needed.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective office operation.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese is highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
