Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, and advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, and administer medications while monitoring for reactions and side effects.
Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
