Facultative Reinsurance Analyst

The Facultative Reinsurance Analyst is a key member of our Ryan Financial Lines team, working closely with the International Facultative Reinsurance Team in the Latam & Caribbean region.
This role involves performing a variety of tasks, including claims analysis and underwriting, with a focus on data management, financial reconciliations, and insurance/reinsurance expertise.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in claims management, data analysis, and underwriting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage claims notifications and communications, including triaging claim types and providing policies to adjusters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, carriers, and claims adjusters.
- Coordinate and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer service.
- Analyze claims data and review policies to identify coverage triggers.
- Participate in vendor selection and review/challenge their reports.
- Control and monitor vendor expenses and ensure compliance with agreed procedures and guidelines.
- Proactively evaluate and address coverage issues and recommend reserving levels to capital providers.
- Ensure all claims are handled in line with agreed procedures and guidelines.
- Distribute claims Bordereaux internally and to capital providers.
- Identify claims trends and address with Underwriters and present to capital providers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically a minimum of one to two years of claims, or reinsurance experience.
- Applicable professional designations or related coursework desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
