Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
  • Prepare the operating suite with sterile equipment and supplies, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgery, maintaining a calm and organized environment.
  • Assist with patient preparation, transportation, positioning, and draping, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
Requirements
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
  • Surgical Tech certification from NCCT or NBSTSA, obtained prior to hire date.
  • High school diploma equivalency or Associate's degree/Technical degree, with 2 years of cumulative experience or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical technology.
  • Prior experience in robotics, neuro/spine, ortho, and trauma cases is highly valued.
