Job Title: Social Worker

Quadrant Inc is seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our team in Baltimore, MD.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Social Worker to provide direct service to individuals with substance addiction. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessment, treatment planning, and documentation of progress in treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct service to individuals with substance addiction
  • Assessment, treatment planning, and documentation of progress in treatment
  • Work in an inpatient medical assisted setting
  • Responsible for a full client caseload
  • Coordination of treatment with other entities
  • Transition, discharge, and aftercare planning
  • Must have the ability to work as a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of professional experience in substance abuse counseling
  • 2+ years of medication assisted treatment experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Knowledge of TAP, bio-psycho-social characteristics, and manifestations of chemical dependency and/or mental illness
  • Knowledge of individual and group behavior and effective ways of working with people to produce ongoing recovery
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and aid them in achieving goals and objectives identified in treatment
  • Ability to identify the needs of clients and gain their confidence and cooperation in assisting them to obtain their goals
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, other members of staff, outside agencies, institutions, and the public
  • Ability to successfully work with others from various cultures and backgrounds
  • Knowledge and experience of running groups (house meetings and general meetings if applicable)
  • Qualified candidates will have Maryland Board of Professional Counselors Licensed as a LCPC, LMSW, LGPC, LGADC, LCADC, and LCSW-C or certified as a CAC-AD or CSC-AD
