What You'll Do

  • Provide Quality Care: Deliver high-quality care to patients in post-acute care facilities.
  • Create Care Plans: Collaborate with medical staff and residents to create effective care plans.
  • Administer Medications: Deliver medications to patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review Care Options: Work with physicians and other staff to review care options and outcomes.
  • Educate Residents and Family Members: Educate residents and family members about best options for care.
  • Set Up and Monitor Medical Equipment: Ensure medical equipment is set up and monitored as needed.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure staff is compliant with nursing standards and facility policies.
  • Draw Fluids for Lab Analysis: Draw fluids, such as blood and urine, for lab analysis.
  • Train and Supervise Staff: Train and supervise nurses and support staff.
  • Document Medical Interventions: Accurately document medical interventions and histories.
  • Investigate Incidents: Help staff with incident investigations.

Requirements

  • Nursing Program Graduation: Graduation from an approved nursing program.
  • Post-Acute Care Experience: At least 4 months of post-acute care or in-patient hospital experience.

Clinicians must be vaccinated against Covid-19.
