Job Overview

Levy is seeking a highly skilled Steward to join our team at Intuit Dome. As a Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including dishes, pots, pans, trays, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 310 Provisions standards and specifications related to food preparation and food handling on a daily basis.
  • Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with waste management procedures.
  • Clean all pots and pans, as well as maintain kitchens and stewarding areas.
  • Follow and maintain knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Clean kitchen equipment and practice all HACCP procedures.
  • Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine, depending on assigned equipment.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
  • Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth, depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
  • Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
  • Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
  • Remove trash and place it in designated containers. Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Help load and unload supplies and product.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Passion for hospitality and delighting our Guests.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in stewarding roles with a focus on high volume production.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
  • Proven ability to read and understand directions.
  • Organizational skills; ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced team environment.
  • Speed, accuracy, and efficiency are required, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt to production requirements.
