The Role

As a key member of our team, you will be directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and inspect assigned work areas to ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and Servicon standards.
  • Participate in training programs covering safety regulations, efficient cleaning methods, and equipment maintenance.
  • Empty, clean, and damp-wipe waste receptacles, remove waste paper and rubbish, and vacuum rugs and carpeted areas.
  • Hand dust and wipe clean office furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, and remove finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces.
  • Damp-mop or clean spills in offices, stairwells, and public areas, and keep janitors' closets clean and organized.
  • Sweep or dust mop hard floor surfaces and perform other duties as identified or assigned.

Requirements

  • Interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills (Spanish a plus)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 years of custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred
