Strategic Business Analytics Leader

About the Role:
We are seeking a Strategic Business Analytics Leader to join our team at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
As a key member of our Information Services department, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and optimize performance. This position involves analyzing complex datasets, providing strategic insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies and service delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling them to develop data-driven solutions that support our mission to advance cures for pediatric diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to IT strategy. Translate findings into actionable recommendations for the organization.
- Strategic Planning: Leverage data-driven insights to guide strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement predictive models to forecast future trends, anticipate challenges, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within Information Services.
- Performance Measurement: Design and implement performance measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of Information Services' initiatives, projects, and processes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, including senior management and executive leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, business (economics or finance preferred), or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in a client-facing environment interacting with senior and executive leadership at the department and organization level.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions. Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and financial modeling software.
