Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and direct the routine functions of the HR department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

The HR Manager will collaborate with the management team to implement HR initiatives in line with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create HR strategy, including recruiting, training, compensation, retention, and other initiatives for all employees based on market research.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help employees understand their job responsibilities.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members.
  • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
  • Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
  • Maintain HR systems and processes.
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR staff.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HR policy and management systems.
  • Bilingual (Korean/English) preferred.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development.
  • A minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
