We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mathematics Educator to join our team at Mathematical Assistance Training. As a Math Instructor/Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives by providing personalized mathematical instruction.

About Us:

At Mathematical Assistance Training, we are dedicated to helping children master mathematics through our unique teaching method. Our experienced instructors work closely with students to identify areas of improvement and create customized lesson plans tailored to their needs.

Your Role:

The Mathematics Educator is responsible for delivering engaging and effective math lessons to students aged 1st-12th grade. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and participate in ongoing training to enhance your teaching skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality math instruction using the Mathnasium Method
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student performance and development
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to center operations
  • Provide additional support to administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong passion for mathematics and teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $17 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive training, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.

Work Schedule:

As a Mathematics Educator, you can expect to work a minimum of 8-10 hours spread across two weekday shifts, with flexibility to adjust your schedule as needed. Weekend availability is also required, with some locations open from 1pm-6pm on Sundays.
