About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, committed to delivering high-quality care and services to our residents. We are currently seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in an evening shift position.

Job Summary

The LPN/LVN will be responsible for providing direct resident care and supervision of non-licensed team members in the skilled nursing operations and other areas throughout the community as appropriate. This includes ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance, overseeing coordination of residents' health and wellness needs, working closely with family members, and consulting with community physician(s) to ensure residents' needs are being attended to in a personalized way.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Provide direct resident care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and monitoring resident condition;
  • Supervise non-licensed team members, ensuring they provide high-quality care and services to residents;
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and coordinate care plans;
  • Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination;
  • Possess a graduate degree in nursing from an accredited college/school, current state license as a Practical Nurse/Vocational Nurse, and a minimum of one year experience in long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, and/or full-service operations.
