Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team at NSC Technologies in Houston, TX. As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing/trouble shooting on all aspects of low voltage fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and terminate low voltage cables
  • Test and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
  • Apply proper fire stopping procedures when necessary
  • Maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset
  • Work as a team player

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with full life cycle installation of various Fire Alarm devices and systems associated with the fire safety industry
  • Current Fire Alarm License highly desired
  • Bosch, Fire-lite, Honeywell, Simplex, Notifier, or other industry certs highly desired
  • Possess working knowledge National Electric Code (NEC) with regard to the fire safety industry
  • CCTV, Access control, and voice and data cabling experience

Education and Certifications:

  • A valid driver’s license
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (Vocational/Technical/Business School strongly preferred)
  • FASA/BASA certification
