Job OverviewThis role is a crucial part of our mission to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and living well.
Salary and BenefitsThe hourly rate for this position is $15.00, with a comprehensive benefits package for employees working 30+ hours/week, including a 401(k) with a 3% company match. Additionally, you will receive paid time off plus holiday pay, a network of supportive supervisors, and job security at an established, growing company.
Responsibilities- Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and support those who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
- Help individuals develop skills such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Support participants in becoming part of their community and enjoying their favorite activities.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Have six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred).
- Demonstrate strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Display patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
- Hold a valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
