The estimated salary for this position is between $57,300.00 and $114,700.00 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Description

This Industrial Process Improvement Manager role is part of the Abbott Vascular division, which provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treating vascular disease. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing manufacturing and business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce work-in-process, and improve process flow and efficiency.

As an Industrial Process Improvement Manager, you will:

  • Analyze and create manufacturing and/or business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce work-in-process, and improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Complete capacity analyzes internally and/or at suppliers for headcount, equipment, and space requirements using simulation software or other effective tools.
  • Identify opportunities and drive incorporation of Lean tool usage into daily functions of continuous improvement.
  • Implement and maintain effective metrics with internal customers.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and eliminate product supply issues internally or at suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related industry experience.
