Job Title: Chief of Public Integrity Bureau
The City of New York seeks an experienced attorney to lead the Public Integrity Bureau, investigating and prosecuting crimes committed by public servants, government employees, and elected officials. The Bureau works closely with law enforcement partners to investigate matters of public corruption and official misconduct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bureau.
- Lead, supervise, and direct all investigations and prosecutions conducted by the Bureau.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies.
- Motivate and direct Bureau staff to perform their jobs competently and with integrity.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree required and significant criminal law experience.
- 10+ years of experience, and prior supervisory experience required.
- Active and Good Standing in the New York State Bar.
