Experienced Dock Technician

Raymond Handling Concept Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced Dock and Door Technician to join our service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the proficient repair and service of customer equipment, maintaining good communication and working relationships with customers, peers, and management, and representing and selling the entire company.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair all types of Dock and Door equipment that RW sells and services.
- Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
- Train other employees as needed.
- Maintain a profitable billing level.
- Follow all Service Department procedures.
- Communicate with assigned Service leadership.
- Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, accurate and orderly fashion.
- Communicate all options to customers before proceeding with work.
- Have the necessary tools to perform repair and scheduled service work.
- Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.
- Maintain a clean and orderly (inside and outside) vehicle.
- Maintain an accurate assigned parts inventory, if applicable.
- Represent the entire company at all times.
- Pass Raymond Certification and re-certification if applicable.
- Maintain good working knowledge of customers and equipment in assigned areas.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record as established by the company's insurance carrier.
- Report accidents whether self or customer.
- Account for 100% of available time during working hours.
- Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.
- Must coordinate all overtime with assigned supervisor.
- Must follow all procedures in the company's Employee Handbook.
- Must follow safety procedures and use good judgment in regard to safety.
- Must be willing to work out of town as necessary.
- Establish a positive rapport with customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent Organizational Time Management skills
Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments.
Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required.
Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Must be self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently.
Must be customer oriented.
Able to always exhibit professional behavior.
Willing to follow mandates and procedures of the Service Department.
Ability to deal with customers on a face-to-face basis.
Maintain a sound working relationship with other technicians and fellow workers.
Must pass all available certificates appropriate to the position.
Must have working knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and repair principles.
