Tax Director, CRE

CohnReznick is seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to join our CRE practice in Miami. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading tax compliance, consulting, and project management initiatives.

• Lead tax compliance and consulting projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness of tax returns.
• Research complex tax issues and draft technical memorandums.
• Manage multiple client projects, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
• Serve as Engagement Manager, developing work plans, monitoring project status, and communicating with management.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, ensuring supreme customer service and quality work products.
• Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.
• Identify opportunities for new business development, expanding the scope of current engagements, and pursuing outside business contacts.
• Recruit and develop talent, establishing a social presence in the community and participating in industry networking events.
• Lead by example, demonstrating initiative, vision, and sound business judgment.

• BS/BA in Accounting, MST preferred; CPA required.
• Minimum 7 years tax experience in public accounting.
• Demonstrated writing and management skills.
• Strong tax research and writing skills.
• Proven competence with MS Office and tax compliance and research software.
• Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
