Responsibilities
  • Process service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare quality submissions to carriers on behalf of clients or prospects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and analyze quotations received from carriers, identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimal coverage.
  • Prepare professional and accurate proposals for presentation to clients, highlighting the benefits of our services.
  • Prepare professional and accurate summaries for existing clients, highlighting their coverage and potential risks.
  • Review endorsements for accuracy, ensuring that client needs are met.
  • Process premium audits and assist clients in the event of a dispute, providing timely and effective resolution.
  • Prepare certificates of insurance, ensuring that clients have the necessary documentation.
  • Perform contract review with respect to insurance requirements, ensuring compliance and optimal coverage.
  • Prepare and deliver timely binders and invoices upon binding of coverage, ensuring seamless transaction.
  • Secure premium financing when needed, providing clients with flexible payment options.
  • Review newly issued policies for accuracy before delivery to clients, ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Follow-up in a timely and professional manner with all clients, carriers, producers, and peers, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and prioritize workload, including work to be handled by Account Assistant, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Conduct monthly renewal meetings with producers and other Account Managers on the team, ensuring collaboration and alignment.
  • Maintain certifications and complete assigned training goals, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements and authority outlined by each carrier, ensuring optimal coverage and compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Manager, providing support and contributing to the team's success.
Requirements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, carriers, and peers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, with the ability to utilize these tools effectively.
  • Agency Management System Experience (AMS Sagitta preferred), with the ability to utilize these systems to streamline operations.
  • Strong work ethic, with a focus on timely follow-up, team-oriented, proactive, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and alignment.
  • Resident State Agents License or ability to obtain one within 2 months, with a focus on compliance and optimal coverage.
  • Insurance experience preferred, with a focus on industry knowledge and best practices.
  • College degree preferred, with a focus on education and professional development.
  • Salary Range: $60,000-$90,000 DOE, with a focus on competitive compensation and benefits.
