Job Title: Physiotherapist and Rehabilitation Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our team at PSN Affiliates in Carrollton, TX.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring patients' function, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy and activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Administer manual exercises, provide stimulation or massage, and teach patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques to promote healing and recovery.
- Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and their families about in-home treatment options and exercises, and provide guidance on maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Documentation and Communication: Document patient care services and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Quality Assurance and Improvement: Maintain accurate records, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education and Licensure: A graduate degree in Physical Therapy and current state licensure are required. Specialty certification is preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform fine motor tasks.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
