Restaurant Management/Shift Leader Job Description
This role is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald's USA.
The franchisee owns a license to use McDonald's logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and separate employer from McDonald's USA.
As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
You will provide leadership to crew members and other managers during the shift to ensure great quality, service, and cleanliness to customers.
Shift Leaders perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald's standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Leader to help prepare them to run a great shift.
Some of the key responsibilities of a Shift Leader include:

- Inventory Management
We're looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who like to have fun, with the passion to work in the famously fast-paced environment of a McDonald's restaurant.
You must be 18 years of age or older to be a manager.
As a Shift Leader, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career with McDonald's.
