About the Role

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Signal Processing Engineer to join our systems team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide algorithm development and prototypes
  • Support software development systems engineering using Agile methodology
  • Interact with customers and end-users
  • Provide briefings and status updates to program management and customers
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • Experience in algorithm development, SIGINT, and/or digital communications
  • Experience in the RF domain
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Xmidas
  • Experience with Agile development as it applies to software development
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration
  • Experience in systems engineering leadership
  • Systems engineering experience on a large government software development contract
  • Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
