Job Title: LVN Coordinator-FT- Days- Accreditation ReadinessJob Summary:

At DHR Health, we are seeking a highly skilled LVN Coordinator to join our Accreditation Readiness team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the organization's commitment to accreditation and certification readiness across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with patient care service staff and physicians to lead transformational change and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with State, Federal, and The Joint Commission regulations.
  • Provide education to medical staff, hospital staff, and Governing Body on accreditation initiatives and best practices.
  • Assist with performance improvement activities and process improvement initiatives throughout the hospital.
  • Act as a resource person to administrative team, department managers, and medical staff on accreditation-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Vocational School of Nursing.
  • Current license as an LVN in the State of Texas.
  • Valid and current Driver's License Required.
  • Valid and current proof of Auto Insurance required.
  • Computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, management, and leadership skills.
  • Proactive, self-confident, and recognized as a credible resource in patient care and patient safety issues.
  • Ability to work independently, have good judgment, and decision-making ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum experience of three (3) years of accreditation/quality experience in a hospital setting.
  • Experience with coordinating TJC preparation and participation in State and CMS surveys within the last three years.
Working Conditions:

The individual spends over 95% of their time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.

Aptitudes:

The individual must possess high aptitudes in general learning ability, verbal ability, numerical ability, spatial ability, form perception, clerical perception, motor coordination, finger dexterity, manual dexterity, eye-hand-foot coordination, and color discrimination.

Physical Requirements:

The individual must be able to perform light/moderate lifting up to 20 lbs, kneeling, walking, light/moderate carrying up to 20 lbs, standing/squatting, straight pulling, sitting, pulling hand over hand, pushing, repeated bending, stooping/bending, reaching above shoulder, climbing stairs, simple grasping, operating office equipment, twisting, operating mechanical equipment, and ability to read and write.
