Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area, recognized for its innovative cardiovascular program and commitment to workplace excellence. We are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our Cath Lab team, providing patient care during procedures and maintaining a sterile environment.
Job Summary- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition.
- Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Uses downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
- Maintains strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
- Completion of 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) eligible and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation.
- Current BLS certification required for employment duration.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through employment duration.
- $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
