Integrity Urgent Care is seeking a skilled Front Office Medical Receptionist to provide exceptional patient care and support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately and efficiently check in patients, collect co-pays, and obtain registration information.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect their rights by handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Coordinate patient flow and manage the patient lobby area to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-desk environment, adhering to high standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems, with a strong understanding of technology and its applications.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-centric role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care and service.
- BLS certification preferred, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
- Familiarity with or ability to understand insurance summary data, with a focus on providing accurate and helpful information to patients.
