Job Title: Lifeguard - Kinesiology swim

Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified lifeguard to provide safety and supervision for recreational swim sessions in the Kinesiology department at St. Olaf College. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, punctual, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Open and close the pool and locker rooms
• Monitor swimmers during the entire swim session time
• Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants

Requirements:
• Must be a certified lifeguard
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:
• Work is performed in a pool environment with occasional exposure to inclement weather
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and move quickly in emergency situations
